My understanding is that he took over a troubled program and clearly showed improvement. Maybe it wasn't fast enough for the AD but back to back NCAA is not bad, coming from the SEC.

I think this guy could get our program, which I believe is in the right direction, to a much higher level.

he won  20 games this year and went to the NCAA's. not to mention the SEC tournament championship game.

The guy's averaged 20 wins the last three years in a darn good conf. Not sure what the problem was as to his dismissal but he's got the best credentials of anyone realistically mentioned since this search started...

He was fired so they could get Billy Gillispie, who they are rumored to be offering $3 Million to.

Arkansas is a basketball school, and always has been and always will be. They are sick of watching a football school like Florida fly by them and will do anything to get back to the top of the SEC again

Razorback fan here. Stan wasn't getting it done here in arkansas. Stan would be a good hire. He's coached at arkansas for 5 years. He has 2 back to back top 15 recruiting classes and has had 2 lottery pics. (ronnie brewer,al jefferson) I'll be glad to answer any more questions related to arkansas.
