No link, just watching college gamenight which showed the bottom line scroll this info. I was thinking that the bottom line scroll was going to read that Gregg Marshall accepts the USF job, but it states that he has withdrawn his name from conideration for the USF job. Sad news!!!

DW should have put the $$ on the table in Oak Hill or whereever just keep the man from seeing the sundome! :

Sounds like this guy (or his wife) simply doesn't want to leave home.  This hs nothing to do with USF or the program or the money we are offering.  I wouldn't be surprised with renewed interest from Pelphrey and I am quite sure there are other solid candidates that Woolard has been in touch with.  Jut because we aren't privy to what;s been going on does not mean that something isn't always in motion.  Woolard is a veteran and professional.  He understands the way things go in a job search and I am sure he he was able to gauge the level of seriousness from Marshall early enough to make sure he kept on plugging.    At this stage, I would rather be thorough than just rush to fill the position with a warm body.

No way would I want Jarvis here.  I never liked him at St. Johns and definitely don't want him here.

If a coach doesn't want to move to the Big East for about $800,000 a year when he is going to settle for $400,000 a year and doesn't want to accept the challenge of building  competitive program, then he's not a guy I would want anyway.  He's either lazy or lost his fire.  No way is Marshall not coming here about USF.
