Me: UF 1971 (when anyone could get accepted).

Son: USF Class of 2008.

UF didn't accept my son in spite of his 1530 SAT. USF did (Honors Program).

Best thing that ever happened to him. He could have transferred but he loves USF and being a Bull.

UF is way overrated academically.

When their alumni association calls I tell them my donations now go to USF.

never went to usf, went to same highschool as grothe, therefore followed his talent here after highschool....i now bleed green and gold.

'75 BS in Biz Admin (I think)  We tied our horses up at the hitchin post and had class under a big oak tree.  

gotta get back in the home now; bingo's starting and the prize is a jumbo size of denture cream or a package of depends.

Brother graduated from USF a year later and also was a Beta, honors graduate as well.  Father went to USF a little as well before graduating from FSU.
