Knowing Tony, I have no doubt USF Coach Heath is in possession of "A Raging Bull - Chasing the Big Time."  If we ever catch that "Big Time" Coach Heath will have his own chapters.  Let's get a re-print...

Bulliever--You know me well...What an exciting day for USF basketball history...I walked in to the athletic training center and I met Romona his wife and their two young boys right away...

Handed a signed copy to Coach Heath for the plane ride back...By now he should have thrown out the first pitch for the baseball game...The buzz in the room was the real deal gang!...I spoke with a few players and they are ready to represent...We move on...And yes, my editor called me today Bulliever and she's so pumped she lowered her rates!!....Second edition will start today and end in the 200__ Final Four where USF will play!!!

Go Bulls!!!

If we could just get this book to be part of the curriculum in a class at USF, it would require annual reprints, and thereby provide a living history of the Bulls march to NCAA success.  Any professors out there willing to make this mandatory reading?  We need to place a mole inside the history department.

Had the pleasure of meeting "BasketBull" at the Book signing...Your passion for USF was real evident and I'm so happy I can now put a face to the name!!

Was pleased to see people I had not seen in 15 to 20 years...Booster **** Wittcoff showed up with son Ken along former Bulls Club president Mike Charles and others...Although we missed a few players some did show up...That was nice...

It was fun talking to Steve Goldstein who saw the first game ever in 1970, the first Sun Dome game in 1980, and the first Big East game in 2006...

Now that's a guy who's been around...Some BULL fans are about to be awaken!!....Gators we're coming back to get you!!!

Tony Grier...

GO BULLS!!

By the way, for those that missed Tony's two book signings, there is an autographed copy up for auction on GoUSFBulls.com.  History and memorabilia wrapped into one...

Item Description

"A Raging Bull" is a memoir by former USF standout Tony Grier.  The first comprehensive USF basketball program overview, A Raging Bull: Chasing the Big Time, chronicles the program starting in the early seventies. More than a memoir, more than a coming-of-age story, more than a history, this book offers personalized insights and life-wisdom framed by the transition of a college player to a member of the larger community.

I was unable to attend the book signing, however, I do have a copy and so far it has been a very interesting book providing history of USF's basketballl program and players.  Thanks Tony for taking the time to write a book to enlighten us Bulls fans and for providing an insight on the program that only those on the inside could have provided.

I have finished the book, and it was a pleasure to read and to learn that Tony and I have both played against Vince Taylor.  Further, the mention of my high school in the book was a nice find, once again Tony, thanks for a very insightful book.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
