Scallywags hit road to finish regular season

The Scallywags (USF men's ultimate) are heading to Charleston, South Carolina this weekend for the the final tournament of the regular season. This will be a final tune-up for the team before the start of the college series post-season play in a few weeks. It is a two day tournament against teams from Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. This should be a great set of games for the team against some tough competition. I'll let you know how we do when we get back Sunday night.

We got back late early Monday morning (2:00 am) from Charleston with mixed results. We went 5-2 for the weekend and finished tied for 9th out of 16 teams. We are on the right track to becoming a very good team, but we still have some problems to work out before the post season begins.

Our next tournament is less than 3 weeks away in Orlando. We will be competeing in the South Sectionals which is the first round of the College Series on April 14th & 15th. The tournament will play host to all the college teams in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina; which looks to be around 35 teams (including 4 top 25 teams). The top 7-8 teams will move onto the Atlantic Coast Regionals in Charlotte. Our goal is to make Regionals and show everyone that USF is for real now. We appreciate all your support.
