Not sure I buy into it being game used...did we have that kind of Big East logo on our helmets?  Maybe this is a reconditioned helmet, I don't know.

We don't have a green logo on out helmet either ...

And on a related note, heard a rumor that we are changing our helmet colors - don't have any more details other than that.

The U has never been that large, and its been black while we've been in the Big East correct?  I hope ET's rumor isn't too drastic of a change.  Need to keep the gold background.  If we do anything, maybe get that green back in the logo.

the facemasks were always a darker green or black as well, correct?

We did.  They changed it to black because it supposedly shows up better on TV.

I remember that too Sitting_Bull...but something just doesn't look right about that helmet and I think it is the logo decal and the green facemask.  Nonetheless it might look good on a bookshelf, but I have to wonder how much of it is authentic, even though it says game used.
