As we have "bigger"away games, am sure we'l have more of these broadcasted ...

suspence- they should televise all games

all home game should be televised to cultivate new fans

we,on this board,would go to game regardless of tv but most aren't even fans yet.

If this is the case, then explain the NFL home blackout rule.

Putting a game on TV will, more than likely, keep people at home instead of in the stadium and won't necessarily bring in NEW fans to the stadium.

Only televise the away games and certain home games.  Tease so that they come the stadium to see the game and enjoy the atmosphere and that will hook them.

Smazza, what TV station is going to be willing to televise a game and purchase ad time for a game that will draw about 40000 viewers?  We can't just tell FSN or ESPN "Hey put this game on TV.  Why?  Cuz we said so."  Just doesn't work that way.

it worked in new york city

all the games were on free tv and who has the best and most loyal  fans? ny

ricky-who says nfl home black out rule is smart? it took old nfl owners years  to put all games on  direct TV

you want to cultivate interest .put every bull game on tv.not to it is a waste and the fans will be slow to come.
