Wasn't I asking this?  Brad I'm curious to the perception of the "in the know" USF baseball fan.  BE domination or nada?

They absolutely should, but I also have zero confidence in eddie. With the enormous amount of talent we have in this area, eddie should have us in the top 25 every year.

Im not crazy about Cardieri BUT USF baseball needs some bigtime facility upgrades is hard going out for recruits when even UCF,FAU, FIU and Stetson have facilities that are way better.

Baseball underachieves every year without repurcussion.  It seems there is no pressure for baseball to excel when in reality we should dominate CUSA.  The Tampa Bay area has more HS baseball talent than any city in CUSA or BE.  It also has better baseball talen than football talent, yet we seem to recruit the area better for FB and FB is very young.

This could be a down fall of the Tampa Bay area in regards to recruiting.  I would bet this area has more kids drafted by the pros than any other CUSA metro and they do not compete with 5-6 top 75 baseball schools that have better facilities than USF (FSU, UF, UM, UCF, & Stetson).  Its my guess that most HS baseball players wanna be drafted then offered a schollie to FSU, UM then UF.  After that its pretty much a toss up.

BTW, being swept by UL was shameful.  New AD might let CEC know more is expected by him in the very near future.
