This game was a lot of fun - too bad there were only 500 people there.  It's great watching these players develop as a team.  Huge bummer that Jared's basket did not count (clock expired) - he was really excited.

not to rain on anyone's enthusiasm or anything, but UCF beat BCC by 35 points  

if you are trying to say that makes us bad... you may want to check UCF's record... they aren't playing too bad right now.

For you folks that haven't watched us play... things are coming together with our new guys in the rotation and that is what is exciting.  Mattis is learning his new role... Buckley is getting confident... Gransberry is a monster... Bozeman is playing very well, out of position, at point guard... Verdejo is providing stability, ball handling, and attitude, even when the points aren't there... Williams and Richardson are providing depth to rest gransberry... Saaka is giving solid minutes and getting to the foul line....

It isn't about beating BCC that is exciting... it is how we are starting to play.  Beating wake is exciting because they are Wake... but more importantly, we are going into the conference season on a positive... and now we have to take on two current top 10 teams on the road.

I was at the Wake game, so I saw them play.  my point was that BCC is worse than terrible.  after you are up by 20 it doesn't really matter how badly you beat a team, anyway.  I do like Gransberry as he was the only one that could guard Visser on wake's team.  i'm curious how we will play the next few games.

Also, this BCC team is heavily relying on transfers. The longer they play together, the better they should become. If we had caught them the first of the year, we probably would have won by 40.

Can't wait for the rubber match.  

Ive said it as well.  Things do seem to be falling in place.  There is now some sort of organization and an idea of how we will play as a team, unlike every other season mac has been here.  This by all means does not mean this guy is going to be able to build a team to compete in the big east and make the dance.  Lets wait to Big East play until we start getting all cocky.  

Bozeman is our savior, we are lucky Ole miss did what they did or we would be losing to these high school teams we have beaten so far (besides wake who looked worse than those high school teams).  

UCONN is all freshman and sophmores with 1 junior i believe.  This will be our last and only chance to beat them in the next 4 years, hopefully our coaches and players know this and use it as motivation.
