The offense seemed much better the last two games.  Bozeman has been playing very well, despite being out of position.

Good win to wrap up 2006.

BCC was probably the worst team we've played so far on the regular schedule. But it was good defense on the Bulls' part. We still have aways to go but it's a little better than a few weeks ago. We badly need a true point guard.

Also, our guys don't like jump shots for some reason. We either get up to the basket or shoot a three, not much else in between.

I like having Gransberry come out to defend. I think that's a good move. Good roation on the defensive end today.

Somebody go to Wal-Mart and buy Richardson a bag of confidence.

Nice win.  I like to see us behave like a true BE team and win by such a large margin.  We've shown some improvement so far, but going in to the conference schedule is going to be the true test if we have truly grown as a program as measured by our conference record and play.

It looks like a lot of the pieces are falling in to place.  Now let's see if we can compete in the BE.

For you folks that haven't watched us play... things are coming together with our new guys in the rotation and that is what is exciting.  Mattis is learning his new role... Buckley is getting confident... Gransberry is a monster... Bozeman is playing very well, out of position, at point guard... Verdejo is providing stability, ball handling, and attitude, even when the points aren't there... Williams and Richardson are providing depth to rest gransberry... Saaka is giving solid minutes and getting to the foul line....

It isn't about beating BCC that is exciting... it is how we are starting to play.  Beating wake is exciting because they are Wake... but more importantly, we are going into the conference season on a positive... and now we have to take on two current top 10 teams on the road.

Also, this BCC team is heavily relying on transfers. The longer they play together, the better they should become. If we had caught them the first of the year, we probably would have won by 40.
