UAB is 8-5.  Richmond lost to Radford College.  Wake will probably end up being the worst team in the ACC.

You guys act like we are losing to Duke, Maryland, UCLA and Ohio State.

None of the teams we lost to are ranked or have been ranked.

Mizzou State got blown out by Creighton the other night.  

Also bring to your attention the darksiders strong support for CJL.  A guy who shows constant progress and continues to move the program forward.

So you don't expect us to be undefeated, only undefeated against non-ranked teams.  Much better.  NOT!

There are 330+ D-I basketball teams!!!  Less than 10% of the teams are ranked.  If we finish in the top one third of all the teams, we'd only be in the top 100.  That's about where we are at right now.  Just like our football team, which is in the top 40 or top one third.

Do we want to get better?  Sure.  Is one loss, or five losses at this point catastrophic?  Of course not.  

The true measuring stick is whether we are getting better.  We don't know yet whether we have a better team than last season.  Just like we didn't know after six football games whether our football team was better.  

It is that hard to wait two more months before spewing the sky is falling crap?

I think that his the difference between you and us.  You surely can't say we don't support USF athletics.....nobody is a bigger supporter of the football program then us.  Who was defending Rod Smith during the days you guys wanted to hang him?  The darksiders.  So don't give us the patience stuff.

We lost 4 straight games to Texas AM Corpus Cristi, UNLV, Missouri State, UAB...

We thought that was pathetic.  Maybe an over exageration on our part, but you guys defended the loses by inferring they were tough opponents.

We just wanted to offer a counter view point..

But it seems to me that if darksiders accuse the others of rationalization and justifcation, they are doing the same thing.

If a win over Team A doesn't mean really anything because of who they are, then a loss to Team B shouldn't either.

As for UAB...they don't even recieve votes in the AP poll.  And who have they beaten?  Maybe Cinci.. but that is about it.

As I have stated MANY times. Im NOT happy with the basketball program BUT ALL I am asking of the darksiders is what do they expect to do?

Fire RMC, right now? Wholl finish coaching the season?, Who is going to pay his buyout?. Where is the money going to come to hire that new coach?

This are ALL questions i want you guys to answer, im sure if you have the answers Woolard will listen. Until then it makes no sense all this fire the coach after every loss.

You guys seem to think that USF basketball is this plum job people are dying to take. In reality with our support,money and league affiliation is probably one of the toughest and one were an up and coming coach would probably pass on.
