Good for the conference. It'd be awesome for the BIG EAST to go 5-0 this post season. .

Exactly.

37-10

Red Zone Scoring ... FG's, not TD's.

Hope we play them earlier in the season.

Although they lose a lot for next year Leonard, Harris, Teel....if we play them early we'll be in good shape.

Yes they lose something like 22 seniors (many starting).  They will be the old Rutgers again next year!!!

But in the mean time, their win make the BE and us look that much better!!!!

Rutgers actually has a lot of talent coming back next season according to what the radio announcers were stating last night. I dont think Rutgers is going to be going away anytime soon. I expect that their recruiting will continue to improve with this great showing this season.

Hope we play them earlier in the season.

Earliest would be in early October since our first 5 games are the OOC games.

Let's see how Rice does with a brand new offensive line in front of him and a new TE. I don't think he'll have as easy a time as he did this season.

22 seniors?  RU serious.  Here's the skinny on RU:  they have 19 seniors.  They will return 7 starters on offense and 16 in the 2 deep.  What is not talked about if the return of Daniels (wr-starter injured in camp), Taylor (wr-slot 1st wr in trips formation), and Tucker (wr-starter injured by 2 game of the season) will all be back and that's not counting them in the 2 deep.  Defensively RU returns 6, but 7 if you count George Johnson who was a co-starter with William Beckford.  Beckford started 8 and Johnson 5.  RU return 14 in the 2 deep for defense.  So I don't know where you get your info or is it wishful thinking.

Rice will have 3 returning starters on the line with one TE coming back.  RU does have 2 transfers (Michigan State and Indiana) will be ready to go after sitting out this past season.  RU rotated 8 linemen throughout every game and 6 of the 8 return.  They lose only Stapleton and Stephenson on the line, but don't be surprise to see Anothony Davis (#1 or #2 linemen for the '07 class) and John Elliot (top 10 in '07 class) sign with RU.  They may not contribute right away, but the future looks even bright than this year at the position.
