This is just a simple list and not too much effort into actual starter ... too many things in play - including most important, the better player  ;) There may be guys RSing and moving positions AND you never know about transfers and FR Phenoms ! We'll know much more after the Spring Game.

No matter, we should have a young and experienced team in 2007 that is balanced in position classes.

Think I may have seen Allen play corner at the Bowl, may be wrong. I didn't include M. Jenkins because all indications are that he is trying the NFL. Also, QB Gregory may be given a medical RS for 2006, so he would still be a SO.

I am still scratching my head about the use of Ponton this season.

I think just about everyone who follows USF football was expecting him to jump right in after his suspension and take over.  I still do not understand why he didn't.

By the way, does anybody know how Plancher's rehab is going?

Agree about Ponton ... I picked him to be MVP before the season and then his game at UNC looked like we'd be fine ... then Williams kept getting carries.

I haven't heard anything official regarding Plancher, and I have been asking. I just need to ask the right person I guess  8-)

T. Robinson was kicked off the team with Burnett before the bowl game, Allen never played corner, and Tyller Roberts plays the nickelback

I haven't heard anything about T. Robinson being gone and Burnett wasn't "kicked off", he was inelgible for failing a class.

I am sure Williams will be on scholly next year, but I just don't see him as the top 4 backs. His blocking is the main reason he played most of the season. I have heard a lot of good about Dorsey from different people, so his blocking isn't there. Maybe the same for Ponton . . . ?

...

Ou Front Four will be the best we've ever had and it's deep. George & Cray really came on strong. Clebert needs to keep pushing because he's a great player. Harris may be RS'd because of the depth and since he was expected to RS in '06 anyways.

Granted, C. Robinson will be a major help in replacing Nicholas, but it will still be a drop off in '07. Moffitt will be awesome and sure with the talent we have, should have a good replacement for St. Louis.

SOFA KING Excited !

Fonua will also most likely RS and when Dixon confirms that he's coming, will be curious if he's RS's also. That would really help balance out the graduating classes.

And expecting Spires to be the Man ! He will push for the spot opened up by St. Louis and then probably move to MLB in 2008.

This is a VERY exciting time for BULL Nation !

And how could we be surprised?  With as little work as he got this year, I would expect him to be full of rust.  A real wasted year for Ponton.....although most of that is of his own doing.
