It could have been my boss' sister's husband. My boss said that his sister went to USF and her husband went to UF. What would you do if you were in a situation where you were going to a bowl for your wife's sake? I think I would wear my BULLS gear and maaaaaybe also wear something for her team out of respect for our relationship.

I've always been against the whole mixed apparel deal, especially when it comes to bulls fans wearing UF, FSU, or UM crap.  I'm always the one giving people hell at the games.

but ive come to realize lately that some people just love their team, if i ever was forced to go to a UF or FSU game, I would be wearing all green and gold.

i dont make exception to USF students though, a USF student should never sport another team at a USF game...I give people all kinds of hell in the student section if they wear another school hat, luckily its not a growing problem, its actually becoming less and less common.

At the TailGate "Brunch" there was a guy walking around in all Green & Gold BUT wearing a UConn BB jacket.

I guess you can be a fan of more than one team BUT ...........

One of my good friends was at the game and it may have been him. He got his undergrad from USF last August and is working on his Masters at UF currently. If it was him (and he was at the game) you will find no more ardent USF fan than him......

P.S. While it was not possible for me to be in attendance for our Bowl victory (I was at last years Bowl in Charlotte) I will be back in town and attending the Gator Bowl game in Jacksonville to watch my other alma mater, Georgia Tech. This story has given me an idea. I think I will be wearing some sort of USF attire at the game. And I will not be rooting for WVU. Sorry conference pride does not rule over my "other" alma mater....

Must have been more than 1 guy.  I was in row 52 seats 31 and 32.  The Gator hat I saw was in row 49 or so.

I saw one of these gator fans walking around (gator hat and shirt) and the first time I saw it I yelled out "Go Buckeyes!" and he turned around and I smiled and he knew it was good natured. Too bad I was dead serious! haha

By the way....why do our fans feel a need to taunt other fans when we get up?  A little class would be in order....if you've ever been to see us play on the road...Alabama, Oklahoma and Penn State fans could teach our fan base a thing or two.

I felt every need to taunt their fans the entire game.  All I heard walking up to the stadium was crap from their fans.  They were obnoxious and rude.  Called me names and talked crap about USF.  So **** right I'm gonna give it back to them!
