big east tie ins are terrible

i cant fault bull fans for not going because of crappy opponent

not going doesnt make you any less of a bull fan

If the only reason you're not going is because of the opponent then you ARE less of a Bulls fan ...

Smazza isn't going?  More fun for everyone else.

I am basing it on UCF and UM away games.

Those weren't Bowl games, so it's a bit much to base it off of that. If we're playing in a BCS game, then you can bet we'll sell a good deal of tickets.

I'd rather travel to see the Bulls @ UCF every other year than to see the Elons and Woffords of the world at the RJ every year.

I don't think this ridiculous comment surprises anyone in here ...

I would rather see the BULLS in Tamplona each week  8-)

2005 we played PSU tight and then had our biigest win over L'ville and then we had UM ...  :-[

Unfortunately, I don't see a big number of fans, because we don't have a big number.

Gator isn't BCS and seems many of our fans want to see the opponent as much as the BULLS.

If the BCS game is not in Miami, I wonder how many woudl travel. It would be in the middle of the week when they would have to take vacation days and spend airfare.

Our fan base just has not grown as much as our program.

There were at least a few thousand there in Miami. I also expected a bit more, but it wasn't that bad a showing.

Gator Bowl is still big enough to where we'd have people go. We could potentially play Miami, FSU, VT, etc. I still think it'd be tough for us to get that bowl unless we are playing FSU, or Miami, but I still think we'd travel to Jax.

Only real BCS options for us would be Orange or Sugar, so those would be 2 destinations that are easy to get to.

I think we're discussing the difference between "fan" and ''die hard fan", or "rabid fan", or something other than someone that roots for the home team when it's convenient. I'm sure that there are way more "fans" than any of us realize.

I think there are 6,000 - 8,000 "die hard fans". Happy to go to whatever bowl game we get, be supportive and have a good time.

GO BULLS!

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
