Someone mentioned that Oklahoma was interested in him....unless he wants to stay close to home...the Sooners would seem attractive to a guy who's looking to play in front of huge crowds,  national exposure and a good chance of consideration for the Heisman.

That would be me, I just have heard Oklahoma contacted him a few times after Shula got fired.

Marve says he wants to stay in the SE so I'm not sure how that will effect his decision.

last night on that radio show with Josh, they mentioned he is a tremendous pickup and that we are recruiting athletic OL because of our system and that in 3 or 4 years, this guy will be 6'6, 300+ [highlight]and be NFL material[/highlight].

I know the sentiment behind a projection like that, but that is a virtual eternity away at this point.  So many things can happen over the next 4-5 years that it's ALWAYS a stretch to call anyone "NFL material" while they're still in HS.

I had a good friend who I played HS ball with who was an All-American OT (beast of a young man), recruited hard by everyone, and ended up signing with the Gators.  He too was "NFL material", but a chronic back injury that wouldn't go away prevented him from ever playing all that much at UF.  Needless to say, the NFL didn't pan out.

I couldn't believe it when I heard him say that. I think it was the guy that does the show with Brantley. Regardless of who is, he sounds like a yahoo.

The guy who normally does the show with Brantley is Bobby Fenton, another Gator clown, so yahoo is a pretty accurate description ...
