Are we talking like Altron Jackson/B.B. Waldon rail thin?  'Cause that IS rail thin.  I would imagine it's even more important to have a little substance to you in the BIG EAST than it was even in C-USA.

BB Waldon wasn't rail thin.  Altron thin, yeah probably... although altron was about 2 or 3 inches taller than Curry.

Altron proved to be a pretty good player despite some of his attitude problems... so size isn't everything.  Curry will still be a good player, i just hope he gets stronger because the big east has some strong guards.

Speaking of transfers, anyone know of any new developments regarding that PF/C out of Tallahasse Community College that won JUCO player of the year? I think Scott is is his last name. Are we out of the running for this kid or still in the thick of things?

Curry is a legit 6-5 so I don't know about Altron being 2 or 3 inches taller then Curry.  Altron was listed at 6-6, but he was on the shorter side of 6-6.

I think he'll gain weight but he supposedly added some weight during the summer and is in good position to be a stand out player.

I just hope curry's achilles gets healthy and stays healthy.  If it is, we have a good one.  And hopefully Cann can bounce back from his surgery.  He has a load of talent, he must be dying to get back out there.

I've stood next to him walking by on the court, a friend with me is 6-4 and Curry was definitely slightly taller we commented as such mainly disappointed he wasn't going to see the court.  Also, in the past people have told me that most of the height/weight stats in their programs and media releases are legit that CRM didn't do the ole Seth Greenberg.

Seth was notorious for overstating height and weight.   I was told that BB was barely 6-6, not the 6-8 he was listed at.  That's half the reason BB never got any serious post college looks.  Despite that height BB was still great battling inside.
