Right now ECU is getting close to  6,000 sold,.  Not where we want to be, but not terrible either considering the date.

It is obvious that no matter what day/date our bowl game will be played, someone will *****. Bottom line, is that if you wanna make it happen, you'll make it happen.

I'm a UPS driver. The 22nd is the last day before christmas for us. Needless to say, I wont be getting off until 9pm at the EARLIEST. Guess who's driving overnight? That's right, we are. Quit your ******** and make it happen.

So, does that "we" include your wife and children?

How many player's families have purchased tickets?

Ponton had a large family group at the Louisville.

"Shut up band!"

Welll......as of 10:30 there's two more in the donation stack.

I'm on-call the last two weeks (as my cohort at work is

off to Houston for Christmas), and believe it or not - I'm

actually gonna have to go to a wedding at 4:00 on

December 23rd.

Attending this year just wasn't in the cards, but I threw two

out there for whoever can make it.  :-*

This is PATHETIC! I don't even care if it is speculation. If you are a fan and you haven't at least called TWO people to go with you to this game then please buy a couple tickets and donate them to students.

I think we have 10 in our group alone! BDIDDY help me out here

Hauling, where were you sitting in Louisville?  We were there right near where the "Shut Up Band!" guy was screaming and holding up his signs.

I think if you're going to donate to the students, do it soon. Exams end tomorrow (or the next day). Im sure a lot of people have started to pack and head hom for the holidays. So DON'T delay.

Update from another Big East Team's tickets sales so far for their Bowl Game:

http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061213/SPORTS02/612130566/1002/SPORTS&GID=KXsPOPW1zaAA5x4EfqhL5IMBNvti9jCdX93A26Ssqt4%3D

No wonder they are expanding their Stadium to 63,000 plus.

PS. Bowl Attendance is important..but so is REGULAR season attendance...and I don't think USF will get big bowl consideration when they can't even get 25,000 fans on average to their HOME GAMES let alone Bowl Games. (Plus, as proven last year, and will be proven next year, USF's Home Attendance ONLY goes up with VISITING teams bring tons of fans...that stigma doesn't help USF's "bowl case" either).

I agree 100%.

That's why we have to win the conference, so they have no choice of which bowl to let us in!

I don't agree totally with that.  I think more fans in the Tampa area will be out next year due to who we play.  Sure West Virginia and Louisville will bring some fans, but you can't tell me that other fans in the area wouldn't want to come watch that game if given the chance.  Especially over a game like FAU.  Our home schedule is very good next year, so we'll see a big bump in season tickets as well as individual home games.  I knew we'd struggle a bit this year due to the schedule.  It takes time to build a football fanbase in this state.  Geez look at UCF, how long have they been playing football?
