jg,

As i mentioned earlier "planning" had nothing to do with it. I planned on going to the bowl game all year. However, multiple events have prevented me from going. I'm sure Trip planned on going.

Just because one plans doesn't mean they will be able to go.

As i mentioned earlier "planning" had nothing to do with it. I planned on going to the bowl game all year. However, multiple events have prevented me from going. I'm sure Trip planned on going.

Just because one plans doesn't mean they will be able to go.

Everybody has different circumstances around these things. I was fine with Texas and actually looking forward to going to Toronto but B'ham just didn't work out ... We need to finish better and get those later bowls.

Finish Better??  Didn't we beat West Virginia, Pitt, and Syracuse in the last month of the season??  3 out of 4 aint bad................Sorry Meatloaf, we one upped you.

not to mention that it is wrong to think we would get a better bowl UNLESS we won the Big East outright. that is a fact folks-- ugly as it seems a fact. 11-1 but not Big East champs-- we're still going to BHam imo.

If we had finished higher than Rutgers we wouldn't have gotten Texas?

If we had finished higher than Rutgers we wouldn't have gotten Texas?

ok-- perhaps. But that is about the only other option we could attain short of winning the Big east outright imo
