This is an affordable bowl within a reasonable drive. Those who don't go because "this isn't a BCS bowl or the opponent isn't a BCS team are not True Bulls Fans

Has anybody, of consequence, in here actually those excuses?

I was about to say the same thing Trip. I think the excuses have dealt with family, the holiday, etc. Which are all very valid in my book (partly because I'm in that book).

I WAS going but then realized, if I did, that velcro would be the only one at the hoops game Friday. I thought it would benefit Mac's guys to have more fans in the stands than players on the bench so I'm sacrificing and staying...

I'm in the book, too...  :(

Weak excuse (take no direct offense please) 8-).  A bowl game for the Bulls where we are trying to show the rest of college football that our fans can compete as well as our team and you opt for a nothing noncon bball game........shame on you ::)  BE IN THE GAME!!!!

I just hope Jim Leavitt decides to stay around this program long enough to build a fan base.  You have to wonder how inspired he can stay when he looks up in the stands on the 23rd and sees less than 5000 USF fans.  

The bowl game this year works out well for me and I will be in attendance as I was last year.  I can't speak for anyone else and I care not to evaluate anyone else's financial or time feasibility for attending.   Attendance does matter and it will be relevant to future success of this program.  If USF was in a position to bring 25k fans to this game in conjunction with the on field success USF would be the second most prominent program college football program in the state of Florida.

  And that's sadly what will end up happening if we don't improve attendance within the next few years.
