3 of them are mine.

I am not (YET!) a Bulls Club member -- meaning I bought my season tickets without making a donation to USF.  I plan on starting my donation to the Bulls Club starting in 2007 ... but I might keep or expand three seats in the "non-revenue" section.

I don't think you have to be a Bulls Club member to have "revenue" tickets. If you paid for season tickets, then those should be counted as revenue.

I think "non revenue" ticket are those that are for players families, etc.

Wow!  You can have season tickets and not be a Bulls Club member?

Yes.  Not only from the recent grad/Alumni grace period, but there's also a faculty/staff section (138), plus some others that don't require a contribution.

Wow!  You can have season tickets and not be a Bulls Club member?  That's an eye opener.  I thought you had to be a Bulls Club member (annual donation) to have season tickets to begin with.  I had always assumed the minimum annual donation was $100.  Where are your tickets, Jim?

The south end-zone are the only sections where you can get season tickets without making a donation to the Bulls Club... and they were only $119 each this season ($20 per game).

I don't think so... but I could be wrong.  3000+ is a heck of a lot of tickets for family members of 105 players (3 each?).

I did pay for my tickets, so technically that is revenue.

I'm not in the recent grad grace period nor am I faculty/staff... (see my post above).

And does anybody have an explanation for the 3,143 "non-revenue" season tickets?

Those a revenue producing tickets.....not freebees....donations and ticket revenue are not the same animal.

They are revenue producing tickets.

seriously, under 5,000 students a game?? that is pathetic

If the students won't even support the team when they can go for free, what makes you think outsiders are going to pay to watch the team?

I don't know.  I went to two USF games in Tampa this year (Uconn and Pitt) and the student section looked a lot bigger than 2005 and definitely bigger than your last football season at USF (2004).

Majority of non-revenue tix usually end up in a following 3 categories:

1) In-trade services, as in USF will give businesses/sponsors/vendors, etc..."free" tixs...as a reciprocal trade for services rendered.

2) Athletic Dept Tix: Dept gives 4 tix to every player...more to coaches & staff. Also the "recruiting/game-day" visit section falls under this category as well)

3) University Tix: Which can be used for PR services, events, etc...

Others fall into different groups/events...like sponsorships, etc...

Hope this info helps.

PS. EVERY school does this.

That student endzone was full, but I am not sure how many the endzones hold. Last year, there were overflow crowds for the students that reached up to the corners. The WVU, UL, and UCF game had a lot of students
