2500 Members Have Registered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the so what is that message boards are transitive, people come and go like a bus station yet every so often we get these stupid threads padding the board on the back as if its throwing a party where everyone who was invited showed up at the same time.  

With that being said there is really no doubt that the board has grown and that there are more "active" members now probably than ever before.  That's an accomplishment that should be celebrated, not the inflated member list IMHO

Well I will say you are right that the 2,498 members are not all active.

But I never said that.

I said that we're approaching 2,500 members.

And despite their inactivity, or the transitive nature of message boards, I believe attracting 2,500 people to do more than visit and leave is testimony to the quality of the board, and its active members.

Who the hell cares?  All that was said was we have close to 2,500 registered members.

If only 15% of the membership is active (and it is much more than that) or only 10% are Bulls (much more as well), then..

15% of 2500 is a hell of a lot more that 15% of 100.

I think that is hard to argue against.

Thanks Jim for noticing.  I think the argument against noticing such a milestone when that milestone was projected almost a year ago is weak.  

We've certainly seen a number of new members involve themselves here, and that is a product of a growing membership.  

Thanks to those that have joined and continue to make us the most vibrant online Bulls community.
