1) Crowder will be in front of Judge Buck Curtin. Angie Chesser is the prosecutor. She's new, but smart and tough.

2) Curtin is a Gator fan. He'll treat Crowder like everyone else.

3) Crowder was originally prosecuted for FELONY Battery. It went to trial and the jury was hung. Then the State Attorney's Office let him plead to misdemeanor battery.

4) Crowder will also probably be charged with Resisting Arrest Without Violence based on what I've read so far.

5) Resisting Arrest Without Violence is very, very easy to prove. He'll get convicted.

6) The least he'll do is probation and a year at that.

7) I know the two GPD officers involved and they're about half the size of Crowder.

8) I'll pull the arrest report when I go to court this morning and report what I read this afternoon.

We don't exactly have the squeakiest clean players either do we?  Not trying to be an a-hole but our football players and coaches seem to get a pass on all the arrests/suspensions that seem to be a growing problem within our program.  Meanwhile, everybody bashed Seth for his undisciplined players getting in trouble.  People that live in glass houses....

Probably because Football coaches must baby sit 105 players, and basketball coaches 15.  It looks to me that if you compare percentages then Seth's did not look as good as the football groups.

He's got a point -- our football players have been showing up on the police blotter a bit much of late.

Youre right S. Bien.  It has nothing to do with the fact that our basketball program sucks and our football program is now the bread and butter of our athletic department, if not our university.  What was I thinking...
