Hmm, the glory days of the early 90's?  And how many coaches have ya'll gone through since?  

If Skippy makes some coaching miracles happen up at ECU just how long will he stay?  With his name recognition, I guarantee he won't last long at a sub par non-BCS school.  

Sub par? We are still one of the most supported non BCS schools around even in our 1-11 years we averaged more fans than you guys have this year and still have a larger budget.  We have more BCS wins than any school in the non-BCS in the last 10 years despite a bad coaching hire and some lean years.  As far as your question. Steve Logan our all time winnest coach was here 11 years and we fired him ,so who knows.  

Firing Logan was a big mistake.

And lots of pirate fans will agree with you. There is a reason we kicked out the AD and Chancellor that fired Logan and hired JT with in one year. (and had NOTHING in place but interims when the Big East shake out went down). Just so you know Logan and the AD had personal issues which was most of the problem.

Correct and so was Pat Dye (hall of famer coach) who stayed here 6 or 7 years and was around the top 25 a large percentage of the time in the late 70's.  It wasn't like Logan created the program from scrach it was already there. We went 11-1 and were ranked #9 the year before he took over for god sakes.

BTW come off it. Leviett is no more set in stone at USF and anyone we could get. Look no farther than Dantonio, hell even Spurrier, Saban, or coaches like that are persuaded away from elite teams.  If they don't leave it's pure luck from possibly a less ambitious coach if you want to be honest because there is always a better job and higher level out there.

Paterno and Bowden. days are gone. Let those guys stay there a couple more years in the day of the internet and their old butts will even be kicked ot the curb  It's been 50/ 50 for a couple of years already and the only reason it hasn't happened is because the PR deal that would come from it. Had they been Joe Smith and Bobby Williams they would be gone today.

UCF has 6 total wins vs D1a's with winning records and is 1-36 vs the BCS. Don't lump us in with them. The only real common is you guys match their trophy case.  :  Oh and before you pull your BCS card. Last I checked Duke was BCS and had 15k fans and no hope.  BYU won a national championship and averages 60-65k a game and aren't "BCS" and there is a non BCS team in a BCS bowl this year and probably most years from here on out.

Louisville's 1-10 team that played in a triple A baseball county stadium blocked our way into CUSA the year after we finished in the top 25. I felt the same way!  It cycles bud.
