It's been a very tough season... maybe the most volatile in USF basketball history (that I can recall).

And yet we are still down a player for a full roster. Oh, let's not forget the two assistant coaches.

1) Does anyone know how Coach Mac is holding up?

2) What's the good word with the players?

3) Does anyone have any good news to report?

I'm for one glad that the switch to the Big East didn't happen one year earlier...

Us being down 1 player isn't really that big of a deal.. in fact, it should be a relief... we were down MUCH more than 1 player last year.... a more full roster will help out tremendously.  

I think we will be lower half of the 16 teams in basketball in the big east, unless something spectacular happens, but that 9th or 10th place in the big east may still get an NIT bid in our first year.

If that roster space is filled by Graham, that would be a good thing.  Does anyone know what his status is?  Is he onne & done or is he getting the extra season of eligibility?

Bulls should win 5--6 likely and  7-8 possible conference games.  Maybe 9 if the front court can score 6-10 more points/game.  If Jones can play right away and is 95% the player that Leather is there should be some relief on the guards.  Both those guys need to play consistently especially Leather.

If one of the new guards can score 8 pts (two 3s min.) consistently plus have a 1.75-2.1 asist to t'over ratio, the Bulls may resemble the Bulls of the "good" yrs.
