It's a slap in the face to those who take the time to register and talk about USF athletics.

There are open discussions about closing off guest posting... while it won't prohibit people from soiling the board...they have to put in more effort to do it.

I might be in to of an idealistic mood but I kind of like the fact this board allows people like that to post what they want.  Sort of the whole first amendment thing where were supposed to protect speech we don't agree with not the speech agree with.  There are a lot of boards that kick you off as soon as you say something they don't like.  Not here  Your free to say what you want when  you want regardless of what anybody thinks about it.  I think that makes this one of the better boards I've seen.  

Even though we might not like what dude up there has to say let him say it and we'll respond in kind, lets not become one of those boards, JMHO

USF's Royal Charged With Trespassing

TAMPA - South Florida junior defensive end Terrence Royal was charged by the state attorney's office Thursday with trespassing.

The charges stem from a March 13 incident on the USF campus.

Royal's arraignment is June 28. If convicted of the first- degree misdemeanor, the two- year football starter and Wharton High graduate could spend up to a year in jail.

Banned in February from USF campus residence halls after he was accused of involvement in two thefts, Royal was seen at USF's Holly C residence hall on March 13.

USF police stopped a car driven by Dewayne Pearson, with Royal, Royal's daughter and former USF football player Shelly Houston as passengers. Houston (charged with possession of stolen property) and Pearson (charged with possession of marijuana; driving with a suspended or revoked license) were arrested at the scene.

Royal was not arrested then, but ``would have been if his 2- year-old daughter was not at the scene,'' USF police spokesman Mike Klingebiel said.

USF police forwarded the report to the state attorney's office, which filed charges Thursday.

On Feb. 20, Royal was banned from the university by USF police, but through an appeal with the school's Student Judicial Services he was reinstated to the school and allowed to resume classes March 1. He participated in spring practice last month for the Bulls.
