SBC has two shirts a green and a gold.  We are actually wearing our gold next week

I'l be in green then.

 It frustrates me that we here at the board can "come up" with these ideas but yet it doesn't occur to anybody at the marketing dept. to get everybody to wear the same color.  How hard is to tell people as they buy their tickets "Enjoy the game, and please, if you can, wear green to the game!"

SBC does send out an email telling us what color shirts to wear and for what games like Andy said, but that's not going to change anything.  All students aren't in SBC--why would they listen to us?  You'll see the 100 or so kids that are in SBC all wearing the same color, but most other students are just there to socialize and don't care.  

Hell, I even see people wearing nothing with USF written on it or even in school colors period!  Not to mention the hoochie girls that are dressed like they're going to Ybor right after...a red dress wil polka dots...come on!

I realize it was for a much smaller crowd, but the those in the lower bowls were supplied green t-shirts to wear at certain televised basketball games.  They were sponsored by one of our corporate sponsors (Dodge, for one occasion) and they had their logos on the back ('grab life by the horns').

Why not do something like that for the student section at RayJay and have the shirts draped over the seats, waiting for them?  For those already in green, great; but then you'll be assured an effective 'green out'.  The students would then use the same shirts at subsequent games (with sponsors loving the advertisement).

whoever got there first would just grab a bunch of free shirts.  maybe distributing after the game starts would work.  i still wear that dodge shirt

Yeah, they couldn't just leave them on the seats, that would lead to issues for both wrong sizes to the wrong people and hoarding.  However, they could manage a way to distribute them.  I'm pretty certain they'd love to do it, but would like to have a sponsor to cover costs.

How about we have students line up with lists of their U numbers to get shirts?   ;D ;D ;D

The distribution logistics could be worked out and only one size shirt need be available.  If you won't wear size large because it isn't flattering on you, then wear your own green shirt.
