   He realizes the job is bigger than him and aspires to make USF even greater.

Negatives

1) Hasn't been an AD and still thinks in terms a non-AD by focusing on minor issues, such as not building an on-campus stadium.

USF needs Ca$h! What are you going to do about it?

2) Lack of NCAA connections ---USF needs a lot of love from above.

3) Lack of corporate connections and buget planning:

"I'd sit down with people to clearly establish an expectation for the budget and how you grow that budget in a fiscal responsible way over the next few years,'' Oliver said. ``I think it would be a little naive to say the budget is 10 million dollars lower than the next [team in the] Big East budget, therefore we need to grow it by 10 million dollars.''

Out of 10 points, I'd give him a 5. He would have been fine when we were in C-USA, but the Big East is no playground and we need more than an inspired leader.

I don't think you should place so much weight on corporate "connections"; LRS will still be involved in that capacity. I noticed you mentioned that with both Oliver and Spetman.

And who knows, maybe one of these guys does have some kind of ability in this area that isn't coming out in the news...

gandi, martin luther king jr, jesus christ were all inspired leaders. great things can be achieved when you can "inspire" those around you to maximize their potential.
