Was wondering if anyone else that was going to the Alumni Tailgate also saw that there is not going to be any beer or wine served.

I was told that Chapel Hill is a dry county and that all tailgates there are dry.

Does anyone know if this is true? What exactly does this mean? We can't even bring our own?

:wtf :wtf

not too bad, look like they are around the 20-30 yardline

nm, I can't read apparently.

Corner of the endzone, looks about where I end up at all the UT games and I like the view.

A few years back there was some incidents at tailgates that crossed the line (legal..shootings where alcohol was a contributing factor) at NCSU, and as such NCSU & UNC clamped down on the locations at which alcohol could be consumed.

Tailgating is allowed, but open flames and alcohol are prohibited.  However, fans are asked to limited their tailgate to one parking space per vehicle, clean-up their trash and act respectably.

An alternative to traditional tailgating is TAR HEEL TOWN.  Tar Heel Town starts 2.5 hours prior to game time and includes:  (1) The Old Well Walk with Coach Bunting and the Team, (2) The Kick-off Show Live from Tar Heel Town, (3) Activities such as face painting, rock climbing and inflatables, (4) Visits by the Tar Heel Mascot, (5) Give-aways such as posters, trading cards, etc. (5) Parker's Barbecue and other food.  For more information link to the Tar Heel website at http://www.tarheeltown.com/ttown.htm

Catered "Q" and ice cold coca-cola.

On the other hand, no law saying YOU HAVE TO tailgate on UNC controlled property.

My concern is the inclusion of "inflatables". For some reason, that just doesn't sound like

the sort of thing you'd be messing with in public..maybe I misinterpreted that... :o

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
