Guys we still haven't put together a complete game on both sides of the ball. The win at UCF was great offensively, however defensively we looked pretty rough.

I think that Meier kid who can run pretty well is gonna be a tough task.

Lets concentrate on beating Kansas.

Yup people here need to stop having these little fairy tale fantasies and realize if we dont start stopping the run we're going to be in big trouble.  UK will see that UCF game film and be ready to try to run the ball down our throats all night, especially after Sunshine threw 4 pricks or whatever on friday.

...you blow a nut and see if you can stope anybody.

7. How beat up with USF's defensive line? "We had so many guys injured inside," tackle Richard Clebert told me on the field after the game. "Me, Allen (Cray), Saiosi (Uhatafe). Coaches kept telling us we had to battle. We all played at like 30 percent. My groin is horrible, Allan's groin is horrible. We knew all week it was going to be a team effort."

Let's look at this 'objectively'

#20 Boston College @ NC State

#20 Arizona St @ #22 Cal            One of these two teams will drop

#22 California vs #20 ASU

#23 Nebraska vs Troy

#24 Penn State @ #1 Ohio State... so they will drop.

#25 Boise State vs Hawaii

Alabama @ Arkansas

Miami (IDLE)

Rutgers vs Howard

UCLA @ Washington

Michigan State vs #12 Notre Dame

Rutgers could only crack the Top 25 if more than 2 teams drop out.  Penn State and ASU/Cal will probably drop.  If MSU beats ND, then it could be a problem.  Not sure if any of the rest will drop - could be that Rutgers is the first team "Also Getting Votes" after this week.

Of course it also means that no unranked team can beat a ranked team, because they might move up as well.

Reporters usually move teams up their ballot as long as they win.

And you don't think that CJL will be ready for that??

I would put eight in the box and make their QB throw it... and blitz like hell.

(Oh, and FWIW it's "KU" not UK).  ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

We had 8 in the box alot of times and UCF was still having success.  KU's line is bigger and a bit more physical they worry me especially because we dont have a good history on the road.  I do however feel comfortable we can win this one because we have alot more team speed but it will be close.

USF won't be in the top 25 because they are not one of the best 25 teams in the country.

Unless something major happens soon, there's no way we beat Rutgers.

Their defense is amazing.. and our offense, well, isn't.

They are agressive but its hard to say they are amazing after beating Ohio, Illinois, and North Carolina.  Thats not exactly murderers row....

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
