Early look at our 2004 schedule.

SC...you're a tough customer.  If any Bull fan is not happy with 8-3, they definitely need a good dose of reality.  We are not a five time national champion ie Nebraska Cornhuskers.  Sorry if I was to harsh.  Don't mean to be.

Let me rephrase that.  I'd be ecstatic to go 8-3 with a bowl game victory.  Actually, I'd be happy with 7-4 (6 1A wins) and a bowl appearance.

if we put up 28 a game, well we might be BCS busters next year... I really dont see our D giving up many points at all this year with the depth and talent we have coming back and coming in...

i think we will get our first win over an sec team. our D will slap a lot of teams around.

8-3 would be fantastic.  Need big win against Pitt (they will be ready this time).  Would love to beat an SEC team, however we might not quite be there yet. USM is getting to be a rivalry because of their whinning coach and poor fans. Cinci is prob still in shock.  TCU the big game of the year, away. will definitely have to bring our A game.

Panthers Athletic Director Jeff Long said Pitt considered the proposal but ultimately decided against it.

ESPN is still looking to move the season finale against Memphis from Nov. 27 to Friday, Nov. 26. A decision should be reached by the start of the season, USF associate athletic director Tom Veit said.

As USF learned last season, playing in a conference means juggling schedules to accommodate television.

``People have to understand the guarantee of playing all our home games on Saturday night is gone. We're the victim of our own success,'' Veit said. ``And when we go into the Big East in 2005, television becomes a much bigger player [in determining the schedule].''
