Hey folks,

I usually don't post on this board, but I'm a fan who has bled green-and-gold since the 1980's.  

Andre Hall is simply one of the finest student-athletes ever to walk on USF's campus.  He has meant so much to our football team the last two years, both as a player and as a leader.  To have him go undrafted is a travesty of justice.

Making the Bucs will be a huge up-hill climb.  He is surely feeling down today.  Let's show him some love, and lift his spirits by sending letters to the USF athletic offices c/o Andre.  

After the energy and enthusiasm he showed time and time again, let's give some of that back.  

Encourage him as he faces this next challenge in his life!!  

How about some students ion campus organizing this effort?  Who will step up for Andre?

Go Andre!!  Go Bulls!!,

Hello the NFL draft has ZERO to do with what a great guy Andre is or how much he meant to the Bulls the past two years.

Never meant to imply that Andre's only NFL credentials were his leadership ability, etc.

The 4.42 in the 40 at the combine, leading the BE in rushing while having every defense focused almost exclusively on him, and his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield would be more relevant.

But character plays a part as well for the NFL.  Just ask Winston Justice.

Well it's quite obvious that the powers to be in th NFL weren't quite as impressed with him as we were.

The only thing I can think of is that Hall is only 5'8.  I understand that there are a handful of players that are under 5'11 that starred at RB, but they are few and far between.  With only 11 RBs drafted and Hall really not publicized last year on a national level, I think teams were looking at him as a FA.  

Before you blast me for saying that he wasn't publcized, think of it this way - When USF was on ABC this season, did the ads say, "Andre Hall and the USF Bulls take on _____"? or was it more of a team thing?  If the national media saw it that Hall carried the team on his back, he may have been drafted.

It did shock me that he didn't get drafted, but his size and carries/game played into his Free Agency.
