This is a very easy question that was answered two years ago. Matthew Modine. No Doubt, the two were seperated at birth. Matthew Modine will play a great Jim Leavitt in a movie.

My choice would be Jeff Bridges, he doesn't have the chicken hawk, but nothing a good stylist can't cure.  Actually, Tom Berringer isn't a bad look alike and he has the practice demeanor judging by his Bear Bryany performance.
