I appreciate the uni's that have been posted here, but none of them are even close to what a "big time" program wears.  They are bush league WAC looking uniforms.  If USF needs to change, then I hope they go to a classic look, like Alabama.  The current uni's are OK, just make small, subtle changes, IMO.

The first one I posted was based on Miami's unis.  I think they are, "big time"

I dont think all big time programs use the "classic" look, as SC points out (Miami), but that being said I hope we do go with a more classic look.  I think that having really progressive uniforms without an established reputation makes your program seem "cheap".  It's like, say, those latest model Toyota Celicas. They just look way to aggressive considering they're not really sports cars.

Just my opinion of course..

Thats what Im talking about! Look at Penn St. They have had the same looking jerseys since they started football which was a long time ago...I prefer seeing teams in classic (But up to current standards) looking unis, I want our unis to last a long time and not change them every 5 years, you cant even recognize the teams.

Penn State and Alabama can have those plain old run of the mill uniforms because they have established programs with long histories.  USF, on the other hand, needs something to assist them in getting fans.  They are trying to capitalize and get something trendier that people will appreciate, buy more stuff, and hopefully get to the games.

Matt Grothe will be playing linebacker with that number... Flipflop will definitely not be happy with the uniform change.  ;D
