Football Uniforms....CHANGING!!!

Exciting news!

In the previous thread I mentioned that I emailed USF to exppress my opinon that I felt the uniforms needed updating.

This morning, I got a response from Larry Antnucci, Director of Football Operations (LAntonuc@admin.usf.edu):

Chris,

I appreciate your thoughts. I can assure you that this is a topic that we have discussed. We are having discussions with Nike this spring, to help us design a newer more "Big Time" Uniform. We have taken input from coaches and players. I will pass your thoughts along to Coach Leavitt. Again, Thank you for your thoughts and your support.

I had heard that our contract was up with "Sports Belle" last season and Nike was taking over.  I can't wait to see what the unis look like.  They better unveil them duiring tis long, horrendous offseason.

The thing I hate about Nike is the "cookie cutter" looks.  They had that horrendous different color sleeve thing last year that VT and UF wore, among others.  

A plea to Coach Leavitt, if Nike does USF's uni's, I'm begging you, PLEASE do not let them ruin them with some fancy, modern crap!

Sweet.  I like the crazy Nike looks.  Progressive.  Maybe they do a gold sleeve for us!
