They rate ahead of us only in perception, not in reality.  I know recruiting, and talent, they absolutely do not have a WR in the same zip code as Peyton, and in fact made a late push as Marcus Edwards.  

I would take Hall, and TJ over Darius Walker any day.  Their best LB, Maurice Crum, who I've seen play a few times, isn't quite in the same area code as CJ Hunnicutt, or Mompremier.  

I would also almost guarantee that Jarriete Buie is better than Ron Talley (a coverted DE), and Brandon Nicolas (who will be playing OT in a year).

ND, outside of OL, didn't out recruit us at any position.  Well DB's they did out recruit us.

I guess Carlton Williams doesn't count towards this year's class nor does Jeremy Burnett. If those guys were counted then we probably did.

Even counting those two its advantage ND.  Vernaglia will probably end up at SS, and Lambert and Jabbie is good but overrated at four stars.

Here's how i would say:

QB- Push ND really didn't get anyone talent wise much better than Gachette, but they did land two, and one is solid in Wolke- ADV. ND

RB- ND landed a really good one in Darius Walker, but USF landed the #1 JUCO, and a similar talent to Walker in TJ.- ADV. USF

OL- Probably USF's best OL class especially if you take into account the late signing of Lavergne, but ND landed massive difference makers in Incarnato, Kaduos, and watch for Nicolas to eventually move over. BIG ADV. ND

TE- neither signed prototypical-PUSH.

DT- No legit DT's signed in this class.  Clebert alone is enough, but calculate Antonio Searcy, and possibly late signee Curtis Chance and its a huge advantage USF. BIG ADV. USF

DE- Clearly Jariette Buie is better then anything ND signed.  Late signee Woody George is extremely big and talented, and Kearse is a sleeper.  ND grabbed some solid speed in Talley, but overall USF wins because Buie is a potential immediate difference maker.  ADV. USF.

LB- Maurice Crum, and Banda, compared to Hunicutt, and Mompremier is a no-brainer.  Crum is decent but undersized, Hunnicutt was recruited by LSU, UF, Pitt, WVU, UGA, and USF.  If Vernaglia moves to LB that improves their ranking.  HUGE ADV. USF

DB- Lambert, Vernaglia, Jabbie, underrated Duerson....compared to Moment, Mike Williams (slightly underrated), and Verpaele. HUGE ADV. ND.

I think its close, but USF is better.

Bien...Maybe you can comment on DB Duane Moment. I know he is a track star in Broward County, but he was very much under the recruiting radar.
