Our baseball stadium, if you can call it that, is one of the things which needs to be upgraded. There are plans in the works to do that, but I don't know exactly what or when.

Really Howie?  I would think the grass would be looking awesome!  We are getting a new stadium....ground breaking is this year...it should be nice!  

What gives you the most concern and the most optimism when the Bulls visit East Carolina?

Point well taken and i agree...  and there are always those that break the mold, perhaps Ellis could break 70 or 80 overhand, or maybe not.

Oh the GRASS is nice. I thought you meant the actual stadium.

We have great starting pitching and our bats are as good as anybody in C-USA.

I'm concerned with our fielding and relief pitching  - especially in the late innings.

The key for us is putting up a lot of runs early - which we can do - and then trying to hang on for the win. I'm also not very pleased with our coaching as I believe we wait too long to take out pitchers.

Howie, reading your reply makes me bite my nails a little bit.  It seems that we match up very well against each other.  Our fielding is nice and we can hit the long ball...it just seems like we are flat for a few innings, then we explode...I wish we had more of a base hit here, base hit there to earn a few runs and not necessarily depend on hitting the ball out of the park.  If your pitching can keep the ball in the stadium, it will be a wonderful series.
