if you mean have her pitching overhand, I HIGHLY doubt she would hit the 80's.  One, it is a completely different motion and arm usage from underhand to overhand.  Two, no offense, but she is a girl.  Many guys would have problems breaking into the 80's.

Lets see where to begin...

As far as our pitching rotation.  I know you will see at least Greg Bunn and Shane Mathews as far as the third starter its a wait and see.  Not sure in what order either.  Most likely you will see Bunn as the Friday night starter.

Overall hitting of this team is deceptive.  we don't poke the ball around like we should.  We tend to score in spurts and when we do the flood gates open.  We love the long ball and if you leave ducks on the pond with certain guys up at the plate, watch out.

I would like to see Ellis pitch the Darryl "D-ROC" Lawhorn or his twin Trevor "T-Law" Lawhorn.  We might have to pick the ball up from Kinston, North Carolina.

Like I said it should be a good weekend.

All i know is that Ellis can really let it rip underhanded, so i'm wondering what she could do overhand, if she practiced it once in a while, i can't see why, even as a girl, she couldn't throw a hard overhand ball.  Its not like i said she could throw 95 MPH fastball... 80 is not that fast if you have the right technique... its alot like hitting a golf ball... the little guy can still knock it out there 300+ yards with solid technical swinging.

But i get your points anyhow.
