Trip, the more you try to deny it the more it looks like a rivalry.

If and when the Gods smile on UCF and you happen to beat us head-to-head in something besides baseball, THEN maybe we might feel differently.  You finishing 9th to our 11th in a ladies golf tournament hardly sparks the feelings of a rivalry in most of us.  

Also, USF dismantling you in football like a 3 year old's tinkertoy statue didn't help your cause.

Since this post has reached garbage time, I am going to throw out my 2 cents.

I trully believe its only a small handfull of people that want this to be a rival game. After we beat them this year who will really want those slags to come to Ray Jay again and act like A Holes and walk through our tailgates and **** like that.

The only way this series keeps it luster at all, is if they beat us this year.

I am afraid that's true.

If we end up 2-0, and both wins are by frightening margins, this may have lost it's luster.

However, until we are relieved of our duty to play a CUSA team (I don't recall for how many years we're on the hook), I'm afraid we'll be seeing more of UCF ... rivalry or not.

Even without that CUSA duty, as long as we have to schedule 5 ooc games, the game's going to look pretty attractive unless Woolard has other stuff up his sleeve ...

They're over there being extremely vitriolic.  The pissing match threads are almost copies of UF-FSU pissing matches on warchant and gatorbiat.

I'd rather play SoMiss, that was really turning into a rivalry until we left for the BE.  There's history between us...
