To be completely honest, if you're going to worry about something, worry about the coaching.  Utah, UTEP, BGSU, and quite a few other schools---even from bcs leagues---have posted 8-9 win seasons or better with supposedly WORSE recruiting classes than we have.

Why recruit more QB's?  We have 5+.  One of which was a 4 star and another that was 3.  We need QB COACHING, people.  That's how it goes.

Exactly.....In another post (not sure in which thread) someone quoted Jim  Leavitt stating that they didn't have the time to develope Denson's potential at QB last year.....???  Isn't that what a quaterback coach's job is?

I tried to coach my Toyota to become a Lexus.  Didn't work.

The best way I found to get a Lexus in the garage is to go out and get a car that started out as a Lexus to begin with.

last time i checked, denson wasnt physically or mentally disabled.. therefore, there is no excuse for not being able to coach him up... again, it is what leavitt was getting paid for and he didnt do it

dont give me the excuse that courtney denson isnt enough of an athlete to be a good quarterback at this level.. last i checked, he's not mentally or physically disabled, and he's a better raw athlete than most D1A recruits.. it is jim leavitt and his boys' jobs to coach him up to be talented.. they didnt.. so dont give me this toyota-for-lexus talk

I suppose the coaches at Auburn are lousy, too?  If not, what's your excuse for them not 'coaching him up'?

oh-- that's easy. They were too busy winning a national championship to coach anyone at that point.
