Good point Markey.  Especially since I don't have the type of knowledge or contacts in basketball as I do in football so my comments mean less on this subject.

Although, it is good to see us get a decently sized point guard with a good shot, and ability to slash, at least from reports.  In recent years Swift, and Kohn had some of those attributes but not all.

i thought kohn didn't play anydefense but did any of seth's kids

seth didn't demand effort on the defensive side of the ball so you can't blame the kids.

they certainly didn't seemed conditioned mentally or physically to play both ends of the court

smazz, that was my point about swift being a bad defender... if he is comparable with kohn on his two broken legs, that isn't very good.  We've been killed over the years because our guards (with the exception of Marlyn) are not good defenders and give up loads of 3's and play Ole' defense.
