This isn't even the first time such a thing has happened in men's basketball. A heart attack claimed Bill Gibson after one season in 1975.

Hearing he had a stroke a few weeks ago and died today  when they were removing the clot(s) ...

This is shocking, a terrible tragedy.  I can’t even believe it, what a talented and inspirational man full of life…how could he be dead??  An absolute tragedy, I’m really heartbroken for his family and our team…
