It’s great that the Athletics department has whatever achieved success this awards purports, but we’ve been irrelevant in the only sport that matters for over a decade. The blowback is to be expected.

They tweet roughly 100x a day but they haven’t gotten around to mentioning it once. They had to release it because they told people they would based on them filling out a long survey but since most departments were actually working I’m guessing they were underwhelmed with the returns. At least VPMK gets to think he accomplished something because it has absolutely no measurable criteria, so that’s nice.

Thinking not too many are impressed. 23k views and 4 comments. 2 of the comments are spam, 1 comment is asking about possibly winning games now and 1 comment is congratulatory…I’ll let everyone guess who that congratulatory comment might be from, ha

Gee and I thought bragging about the Colley Matrix was bad.   

So they basically chose winners based on essays?  Sounds like an award for 5th graders.

What's next, are we going to make a poster board to enter a contest for best academics?
