How long did it take to build Raymond James?  Trip?

I remember it being built pronto before any schools, roads or emergency services.  Wasn’t it 18 months?

If you could have convinced Vinik to put $5 million towards NIL we'd have 4 or 5 quality players. Having an OCS will convince absolutely no one in this day to come to USF.

Maybe for one year. Then what? Find someone to donate another $5mil? Hopefully? Build an OCS is a long lasting investment, not one year rent.

Per the fine folks at Wikipedia:

On September 3, 1996, the ballot measure passed by a margin of 53% to 47%.[14]After the vote, the season ticket deposit drive fell 17,000 short of its 50,000 goal at the team-imposed deadline, the Buccaneers' offer to pay half of stadium construction costs was withdrawn, and the facility was designed and built entirely at public expense.

The stadium officially opened on September 20, 1998,[23]

You were.  Sharp as usual. You should read that wiki page.  Amazing.  Of course it’s not truth verified like CNN, but it lays out the insincerety and crookedness of the Glazers and our local political dopes.  All rich now of course.

So why is our stadium at the end of year three and we’re almost ready to put a ceremonial shovel into ceremonial dirt?

We will see. Well, not me because I've only got another 20 - 25 years. It won't be paid off by then. Unless that stadium gets us in a good conference I think it's a waste.

We’re missing insincerity, crookedness and political dopes?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
