I remember when that conference used to be rock bottom. That conference looks pretty, pretty good in retrospect.

The conference quality just gets worse and worse just like USF football has been post Leavitt.

Basically Belgium Bull points out that it is not the AAC’s problem that USF is stuck in the AAC, if is actually the performance on the field that has USF stuck. In reality, USF fans have no ground to stand on to rip the AAC until USF actually wins it. Look at all the schools that won & ended up getting called up. And before we try to blame MK or CAG just know that both inherited a clown show when accepting the USF job.

AD MK bares some responsibility for USF still being in the AAC he hired the worst FBS coach at the worst possible time and extended him for one fbs win in two seasons prolonging USF being the rock bottom of college football for a third year. HE has shown he has zero skills to navigate USF out of the AAC while we have seen Houston, Cinncinatti, UCF, and SMU win their way up because their ad's have a team identity, winning culture, and hire winning coaches while in the AAC. So now we are at the bottom against defeated with even worse quality teams in the AAC.  His " ACC connections" have brought usf further and further away from the program it was before he took over.  The peak wins for USF football under the leadership is 7 wins and we quite a bit more games that we won under his watch.

Conference record under AD MK  10-39.
It seems he has been very unsuccsseful at getting results in the win column for football or getting USF to the top of the AAC.

I do believe USF will find a way to win 7 games this season and end up in the Gasparilla Bowl. To me both CAG & CAAR are great hires and both were done by MK. Relax as CAAR would say. USF will be fine

Relax? We scored 3 points last week and get embarassed by Tulane 45-10  in conference play. The team was unprepared  to compete for back to back conference games.  If the emergency sirens aren't going off then the program is lost.
