When they announced the OCS, I said that USF is always behind the times. Money should be going to NIL and not a stadium. I know you can't borrow money for NIL but your donors money would be better spent on hiring quality players. I'll stand by that until they prove me wrong. Playing in an OCS would not make a difference in the quality of play.

I am still happy getting the OCS, but I found it more worrying that based on the reports that we dont have the money for exit fees or travelling out West twice a year.

Still in favor of the OCS. Better late than never.

Theoretically, you may be right.  However, we'll never win a price war.  We'd get about the same for a lot more.

Have to do both.  Neither is optional.  Getting an OCS will increase profits in the long run. 

 

 A good coach with a  can get good player to play great.  If coaches success is largely dependent on top talent then they are probably not a good coach..

If you could have convinced Vinik to put $5 million towards NIL we'd have 4 or 5 quality players. Having an OCS will convince absolutely no one in this day to come to USF.

Again, theoretically.  Investing $5 million in players that could be gone the very next year is hardly worth anybody’s time or money.  
 

We don’t have an endless supply of money. And neither does Vinik.
