E.T. - If I'm right, then we have a really interesting bench with Walker, Williams, Green, Ademokoya, Brown, etc. My questions are: Will we shoot it - from 3 and the FT line - like we did last year, and will we have the same leadership that says "we're not losing this game" when things get tight down the stretch? Just a month until tip-off and we see UF's 7-foot-9 freshman. Yep, 7-9!

Can't imagine that dude gets more than 8-10 minutes per game. He's cartoonishly tall.

Jennings looks to be the new leader. I hope he can hoop like Chris.

I think this squad will be more dynamic than last year’s. We might have a drop off in scoring, especially from deep but we have more size and versatility under the hoop with the new bigs. Excited to see how the chemistry comes together.

I'm shocked by this.  The home schedule is atrocious.  Absolutely no one of interest coming to the YC in non-conference games.  It is what it is when USF gets into conference play but that certainly doesn't look very enticing either.  If they win then people will continue to attend because everyone likes a winner.  Problem with that is it's not going to help come March Madness time because of the poor strength of schedule (ie last year).  But if they start losing attendance will fall off a cliff.

Hopefully that atrocious ooc schedule will allow us to win some games, keep the momentum going from last year and into our in conference schedule.

I  hope so but remember, the weak ooc and conference schedule is what kept USF out of the Big Dance after failing to win the conference tourney.  I truly believe they were "that" close to getting in but Strength of Schedule held them back.  Wins against Bethune Cookman, Stetson, etc. don't do ANYTHING to help you get in come March.  The loss to Central Michigan certainly didn't help either.

I get winning, momentum and all of that but when you have people hundreds or thousands of miles away looking at your record, strength of schedule, conference performance, tourney performance, etc and they make the decision as to whether you're in or out it's important.

I wonder how many of the players that hit the portal would have stayed if USF was in the tourney?  Imagine if USF got in and knocked off one or two higher seeded teams?  I think at least some of the players would have stayed thinking USF is a place where I can get some recognition and a chance to show what I can do.

Just my 2 cents.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
