Yea we got beat by the 4th ranked Alabama and 7th ranked UM. On a glass half full tip, we had 365 yds of offense against Miami and close to 400 yds of offense against Alabama. And that's with our offense playing HORRIBLE. Imagine when our offense actually plays well. There are teams whose offense plays well and still can',t accumulate that many yards. Once we get in rhythm and learn to be efficient, we will be a problem.

As for our defense -

They held their own against both power houses. We didnt get blown out until the 2nd half of the game. Hell Alabama only had a 2 pt lead at the first part of the 4th quarter.

We will be ok!!!

We cant score tds against Alabama or UM. But why not Tulane? The "Ragin Cajuns" put up 413 yds of offense against them. 

Tulane has the 96th ranked Rushing defense. USF has the 25th ranked rushing offense.

No reason to take them off.  Especially if I expect rougher times ahead.  The main thing I wanted to see through my goggles was increased competitiveness.   Doing pretty good in that regard.  We're not where we need to be, but that wasn't the expectation one third of the season in.

I had 10-2 going into this season. The early loses to Bama & Miami are inexcusable if we want to be where we need to be. So now we must win out….

We faced the two tougest teams on our schedule and saw what it takes to be elite. We aint there yet... We lack the high end talent of the our teams. Our team is built of mostly 2/3recruits with power transfers that were phased from there prior teams looking for a place to play. We need to develop a 5-star work ethic and out work the other teams on that schedule. The offensive play calling in the red zone and passing game need to improve. The defense has been shredded for all three fbs games and will need to set the tone for AAC play. Lets hope the bulls  coaches and players felt the hurt we all felt in the beat down at Ray Jay and use it to beat up on other teams.
