And you know what looked different about those throws? It seemed to me like he just fired like he was playing backyard football. However, on most of his throws, it looks like he is winding up and trying to time perfectly the throw as to avoid a pick. And he is often throwing off-balance off his back foot.

He was basically 65% yesterday for 250 yards in less than 3 quarters, I'll generally take that. Cam Ward ain't coming to USF any time soon, hope BB at 19 hasn't reached his ceiling yet.

Perhaps having your QB also acting as your lead RB isn’t conducive for precision passing. I can imagine by half-time Brown is pretty beat up.

65% is deceiving if they are coming on short passes and most of the yards are coming after the catch.

Unless it's a jet sweep, you still need accuracy. We've had qb's who couldn't even complete those short passes....
