We will agree to disagree then.

Believe that Cannon’s make was in game 1 and then he missed badly for a similar distance at Alabama.

Either way its a luxury to have two good kickers. It cant be overstated how being able to make 50+ yard kicks consistently can help you win a bunch of close games.

Again, I'm assuming GOACH is only using Nico for 50+ kicks. I don't like it. Ride the hot hand.

Had Bama game blocked out so yeah, I guess we'll call it a draw ... Cannon CAN kick a 40 yarder but has also missed them. I doubt, though, that smazza put as much thought into his response as we have, was more a 20/20 hindsight observation.

I think Cannon screwed CAG up when made the 53 yarder earlier in the year, messed up his platooning philosophy for a short and a long kicker.

This is well said. Only did we end up finding out that the 53 yarder vs bcu was a mere outlier.
